Winterfest Hartford
The ninth annual go-round of Winterfest Hartford gets underway Friday, November 23rd and will run into early January. The exact lineup of events hasn’t yet been released, but previous years have featured live music, carousel rides, and an array of other family-friendly activities on top of the skating.
But that skating is the heart of the weeks-long festival: You can take to the rink for free seven days a week during Hartford Winterfest from 11 AM to 8 PM. If you haven’t lugged your own pair of ice skates with you to The Goodwin, you can rent some (again, for free) from the Skate Shack beside the Bushnell Park rink.
Santa Claus himself also typically makes a few appearances, as you might expect.
A wide variety of businesses, organizations, and philanthropists provide the funds to support Winterfest Hartford, which has become a beloved community tradition.
